We provide diagnostic and comprehensive second-opinion consultation diagnoses relating to disorders of the liver, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract. We offer rapid turnaround on hepatic, gastrointestinal endoscopic biopsies and resections of the gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary systems. Our world-renown pathologists specialize in evaluating inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic malignancies, and liver transplants. Our services help clinicians provide the most appropriate care for disease.

Our clinicians use specialized immunohistochemical and molecular techniques in addition to conventional histology to aid in the diagnosis of major conditions such as Barrett esophagus, chronic gastritis-ulcer disease, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign and malignant tumors, including lymphoma and carcinoma. Specialized biomarkers and molecular tests are used for diagnosing colorectal cancer, GIST tumors, and polyposis syndromes with RAS-testing panels and EGFR analysis. We offer HER2testing by immunohistochemistry and FISH for gastric and pancreatic cancers. We have additional expertise in soft tissue pathology, pancreatic cancer, liver disease, and liver tumors as well as transplant pathology, including liver transplant rejection analysis. We also have specialists in esophageal dysplasia and Barrett’s esophagus.
