Lindsay Alpert, MD, joined the University of Chicago’s Department of Pathology as an Assistant Professor in 2017. She specializes in gastrointestinal pathology, and her research focuses on the histologic and molecular features of sporadic and inflammatory bowel disease-associated colorectal cancers. Alpert earned her MD from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, and she completed her residency in anatomic pathology and her fellowship in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology at the University of Chicago.
