Tatjana Antic, MD, joined the University in 2009, where she serves as Associate Professor in Pathology, interim director of cytopathology, and director of the cytopathology fellowship program. Antic also holds the position of pathology quality chief within the University’s Center for Quality. Her principal interests are genitourinary malignancies, with a special focus on renal cell carcinomas. She earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade in Serbia, and trained in clinical and anatomic pathology at Loyola University before completing a fellowship in oncologic genitourinary pathology and cytopathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has been an invited speaker and participant at several national and international conferences, and has authored or co-authored four book chapters and more than 45 peer-reviewed papers and reviews.
