Dr. Jennifer Bennett is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. She received her M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her anatomic pathology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Thereafter, she served as the Dr. Robert E. Scully Fellow in Gynecologic Pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Her research primarily focuses on the integration of morphological, immunohistochemical, and molecular features in gynecologic neoplasms (in particular, uterine mesenchymal neoplasms), and she has received several grants to fund her work. She also is on the editorial board of Pathology Outlines and oversees the uterus and vulva chapters. She has published original research articles in many areas of gynecologic pathology and co-authored several sections in the recently released WHO Classification of Female Genital Tumors.
