Associate Professor Ivan Moskowitz, MD, PhD, is an expert in cardiac pathology. His laboratory investigates the genetic and molecular basis of heart development, congenital heart disease in children, and cardiac arrhythmias in adults. Moskowitz has garnered considerable extramural funding, currently including three National Institutes of Health RO1 grants and a Leducq Foundation Consortium grant. He has published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed publications, co-authored two book chapters, and presented at more than 40 conferences. A diplomate of the National Board of Examiners and the American Board of Pathology, Moskowitz received his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and his MD and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and a fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital in pediatric cardiac pathology and genetics.
