Girish Venkataraman, MBBS, MD, oversees the immunohistochemistry lab located in the Clinical Hematology Laboratory. He is an Assistant Professor in Pathology and is part of the hematopathology team, which handles routine bone marrow biopsies/aspirates, lymph node biopsies, and other heme-related material as well as body fluid/CSF analysis for the clinical hematology lab service team. He is focused on lymphoma pathology and has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed articles. Venkataraman earned his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India. He was a resident at Loyola University Medical Center and completed a hematopathology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, NIH.
