Daniel Arber, MD, is Professor and Chair of Pathology and specializes in hematopathology. His research interests include the diagnosis and classification of leukemias and lymphomas and tumors of the spleen. He has over 300 publications and book chapters and has authored/edited six medical textbooks. He received his BS degree from Texas A&M University, his MD from University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonia, completed his residency at the Scott & White Clinic and fellowship at City of Hope National Medical Center. He was previously the Ronald F. Dorfman Professor of Hematopathology at Stanford University.
