Our Renal Pathology Laboratory processes approximately 1,300 renal pathology cases annually. These cases consist of native (90 percent) and transplant (10 percent) kidney biopsies from both adult and pediatric patients from five states. We are a major center for adult kidney transplantation and serve nephrologists, rheumatologists, and transplant surgeons by providing the full range of testing, which includes light, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and molecular techniques.
